Senior UX/UI Designer at EY – Bangalore, India

EY is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our GDS Assurance Digital practice in Bangalore, India.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 – 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in data analytics projects.
  • Management experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in agile practices, design thinking, visual design, interaction design, information architecture, and current design industry trends.
  • Expertise in design principles, ensuring the user interface is intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Experience with iterative product design planning and development.
  • Proficient in creating designs and working with Power BI.
  • Strong experience with Adobe XD and Figma.
  • Experience with design systems and UI pattern libraries.
  • Fluency with design tools such as Sketch, Invision, Axure RP, OmniGraffle, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other UX and prototyping software.
  • Ability to simplify complex interactions into intuitive user experiences.
  • Experience with planning and facilitating usability testing is a plus.
  • Strong typography, composition, and layout skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Highly conceptual thinking skills and the ability to develop ideas from concept to completion.
  • Adept with Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools.
  • Experience in creating UX deliverables such as interface sketches, user/web flows, and personas.

Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the output of other designers on the team.
  • Drive engaging and effective design.
  • Serve as a UX evangelist.
  • Clearly articulate problems and proposed solutions.
  • Proactively identify issues, present solutions and options, and lead to resolution where appropriate.
  • Prioritize personal and team workloads to meet organizational objectives.
  • Advocate for the user, incorporating customer insights and principles throughout the creative process.

Additional Skills:

  • Maintain long-term client relationships and cultivate business development opportunities.
  • Provide high-quality client services by managing daily progress of engagement work, informing engagement manager of status, and managing staff performance.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to create PowerPoint decks to communicate solution architecture to various stakeholders.
  • Understanding and experience with software development best practices.
  • Excellent business communication, consulting, and quality process skills.
  • Must be a team player.
