Our client, a leading technology firm in Bangalore, is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Delivery Manager with expertise in Java, Angular, and AWS. This individual will collaborate with Founders, Principal Architects, and Growth Leads to tackle complex problems, guide the implementation of the organization’s strategic vision, and manage critical projects. Ideal candidates have a strong technical background, excellent management skills, and a passion for technology and innovation.

Key Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding and passion for technology, especially in Java, Angular, and AWS. Widely read and continuously learning.
• Educational Background: Engineers from top-tier institutes preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years in management consulting or operator experience at tech startups.
• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Communication: Superior written and oral presentation skills.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Collaboration:
   • Work directly with Founders, Principal Architects, and Growth Leads to address new challenges.
   • Study companies and sectors to identify trends for investment and growth.
   • Articulate and help implement the strategic vision of the organization.
   • Tackle organizational priorities as set in OKRs.
2. Project Management:
   • Identify, manage, and control changes affecting scope, schedule, and resources.
   • Ensure scope is defined, approved, managed, and controlled.
   • Develop and manage schedules for on-time delivery.
   • Estimate and manage costs to deliver projects within approved budgets while maintaining profit margins.
   • Efficiently assign and manage resources.
3. Risk and Quality Management:
   • Proactively identify and manage risks and issues.
   • Plan and deliver high-quality projects that meet all requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
   • Conduct planned communications to involve stakeholders, set and manage expectations, and provide adequate updates throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Business and Stakeholder Management:
   • Guide work based on business plans and actively participate in setting objectives to meet plans.
   • Escalate matters of business risk and influence others through professional/technical expertise.
   • Manage critical projects, customer engagements, or business processes and guide major project completions.
   • Allocate work, mentor others, and provide thought leadership, guidance, and advice.
5. Communication and Leadership:
   • Adapt communication techniques for various internal and external audiences.
   • Present facts and information to negotiate solutions and delegate tasks clearly and comfortably.
   • Cultivate, develop, and manage strong customer relationships at senior leadership levels.
   • Manage vendor relationships and handle multiple medium to large projects or complex programs requiring high levels of integration and organizational change management.
6. Standards and Mentorship:
   • Champion project management standards and their value internally and externally.
   • Provide coaching and mentoring, and potentially deliver PM-specific training.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Deploy microservices in cloud or on-premises environments.
• Maintain source code according to proper check-in guidelines.
• Design and develop scalable and robust APIs for the BFIS domain.
• Conduct unit testing for code robustness, covering edge cases and usability.
• Identify and resolve bugs while optimizing application performance.
• Design scalable database schemas for banking data management.
• Drive innovation in solution creation, focusing on simple and elegant design principles.
• Stay updated on relevant technologies and trends, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Contribute to product documentation creation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and peer developers to deliver polished web/mobile applications.

Skills & Education:

• Proficiency in Java, Angular, and AWS.
• Proficiency in Spring and Spring Boot, including Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security.
• Strong understanding and implementation skills in microservices architecture.
• Experience with Web Services such as JSON, REST, JAX-RS, and Spring-based REST services.
• Proficient in Java and J2EE/Java EE technologies (servlets, JSP, JSF, JDBC).
• Deep understanding of Java multithreading.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
• Education: BE/B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA & MCA, B.Sc & M.Sc, MBA
