Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive Automation and Integration: Drive automation and integrate with CI/CD tools for continuous validation, ensuring seamless deployment and updates of AWS cloud applications.
  • Architect AWS Cloud Solutions: Lead the effort to build well-architected applications for AWS Cloud, emphasizing scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Foster Quality Mindset: Instill a quality-first mentality across the team, ensuring that quality is owned by every team member and that code defects are promptly identified and addressed.
  • Optimize Code Performance: Identify bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code using automation tools, and work with other developers to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate clear business objectives aligned with technical specifications, and work in an iterative agile pattern to deliver solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • AWS Expertise: Extensive experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, IAM, VPC, EC2, Athena, Cloudwatch, Dynamo, and RDS.
  • Cloud Development: Experience in deploying and developing AWS cloud applications and services end-to-end, with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Serverless Architecture: Understanding of the serverless mindset and its application in architectural solutions using AWS services.
  • Terraform IaaS: Strong experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provisioning and management.
  • DevOps and CI/CD Tools: Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Cloudbees, and Build tools, enabling seamless integration and deployment.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with a preference for Python.
  • Database Expertise: Deep understanding of database concepts, design, and optimization for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Version Control: Solid experience with Git for software version control, and a strong understanding of code branching strategies for effective code management.
