About the Role:

Our client is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Raw Material Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in managing raw materials within the pharmaceutical industry. This role involves overseeing the procurement, handling, and quality control of raw materials used in the production of pharmaceutical products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raw Material Procurement: Manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, ensuring that suppliers meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, including ordering, storage, and distribution, to ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure raw materials meet the required quality specifications and standards. Conduct inspections and tests as necessary.
• Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Compliance: Ensure all raw material handling and documentation comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of raw material usage, inventory levels, and supplier information. Prepare reports as required.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues related to raw materials, such as supply disruptions, quality concerns, or non-compliance.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in raw material management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. Additional certifications in supply chain management or quality control are a plus.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in raw material management or a related role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of raw material procurement, inventory management, and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for raw materials.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing raw materials.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
